About Us We are a UK-based historical re-enactment group representing Company B [Tom Green Rifles] of John Bell Hood’s 4th Texas Volunteers. The original unit served with the Army of Northern Virginia’s famed Texas Brigade throughout the American Civil War, from 1861 to 1865. The present one forms the fourth company of the American Civil War Society’s Confederate Battalion and participates in a wide variety of events around the country, combining a high standard of authenticity with the informality and individuality associated with Hood’s Texans. Although we primarily represent a rifle company, there is ample scope for civilian and specialist impressions as well, and prospective recruits are invited to register their interest in our guest book.
